The Air Force Naval Housing Board (AFNHB) as a Service Welfare Body is committed to serve the housing needs of the Naval and Air Force community purely on 'No Profit No Loss' basis. This Board was registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860, with an objective to promote housing schemes in cities all over the country as per the demand of the Naval and Air Force personnel. The top priority allottees are war widows followed by widows of other personnel who die in harness.

    AFNHB can proudly claim to have a clientele of over 15,500 allottees and by the turn of the millennium, it had completed handing over of almost 9000 dwelling units and farm units. Click Here to see some of our latest projects

The latest achievement of the AFNHB is the fact that this is the only building agency to have claimed 20% rebate on land-cost from Haryana Urban Development Authority for completing the project in record time. Besides the Gurgaon Phase II (Sector 56) project has been declared the Best Project of Gurgaon Area by the Gurgaon Residents' Association.

    The motto of AFNHB is "ALLOTTEES' SATISFACTION". The allottees' involvement commences from the design stage and continues till completion of the project. This is accomplished by periodic Users' Meetings and creating Sample Flats. AFNHB has realised the need of service personnel and has started providing rich specifications finishes such as Oil Bound Distempering on internal walls, Plaster of Paris decorative mouldings and cornicies, mosquito proof external doors and windows, external permanent finish of Gritwash and Marbel/Granamite floors in Drawing room areas , thus converting the dwelling unit into Deluxe Segment with marginal cost addition.

    AFNHB generally constructs two categories of dwelling units, one for the officers category and the other for airmen / sailors category of Air Force and Navy. The funding for the dwelling units is through Self Financed Schemes with an approximate of 10% of the expected price of the flat being deposited at the time of registration and balance in easy installments.
